              
FOREWORD Thank you for your interest in the CEO Leadership Program. You have made an exciting choice to apply for this amazing opportunity! Twenty years ago leadership meant power. Today, the key to leadership is empowerment. The world is leaner and depends more and more on the empowered individual and work teams. The older generation must prepare young people to function in society independently and to take responsibility for their lives and their surroundings. The CEO Leadership Program is for the young person who must go from being responsive to being responsible; for the person who must take initiative and go from problem spotting to problem solving; for the person who will make learning a partnership between adults and kids rather than a power struggle. The CEO Leadership Program will teach young people to be increasingly self-reliant, yet work effectively in a team. Our passion here at Muskoka Woods is to provide an experience for young people in order to develop the personal skills and self-leadership abilities they will need in order to become 'peak performers' in the path that they have chosen for their lives. We will help you develop skills in listening, goal setting, negotiation, conflict management and problem solving. As a result of participation in the program, CEO's will be more motivated, confident, flexible and sure of themselves in their interaction with teachers, parents, employers and friends. We will utilize our amazing facilities, our trained and qualified staff, and the variety of activities that MWSR has to offer in order to develop these aspects of the CEO's life. We are also pleased to announce that our CEO Leadership program has been granted accreditation for ONE FULL GRADE 11 Ministry of Education course credit. (GPP 30 LEADERSHIP & PEER SUPPORT) Now you can get an Ontario High School credit while at camp!
